Mental Health Support in the Community policy

Community mental health support is framed around recovery, rights and parity of esteem, with reference to the Mental Health Act 1983 and the Mental Health Act 2025. Section 117 aftercare and the human rights duties that come with it are covered, along with co-produced support planning, advocacy and involvement, and least-restrictive support.
