Eating Disorder Support policy

Home care staff are not eating disorder specialists, and this policy is clear about the role and its limits. It covers recognising possible eating disorders, responding with compassion and without judgement, referral and joint working with specialist services, supporting people around food and meals, and recognising medical risk and emergencies.
