Driving at Work and Use of Own Vehicle policy

Driving between calls is a routine part of domiciliary care, and this policy covers the driver, the vehicle and the journey. It addresses licence checks, fitness and conduct, roadworthiness and insurance, journey planning, time pressure and fatigue, mobile phones and other distractions, and what to do after an accident or breakdown. Coordinator responsibilities are set out.
