Dementia Care and Support policy

Supporting people living with dementia in their own homes is set out on person-centred lines, covering communication and how independence, choice and dignity are maintained. Distress is treated as a form of communication, with psychosocial responses first, and there is guidance on meaningful activity and occupation.
